Endless social media scrolling.
Online shopping.
Binge watching shows.
Spending all weekend watching sports.
The time adds up.
Three hours here. Two hours there. Four hours each evening in front of the TV. Pretty soon all these hours add up in endless hours of wasted time.
Wasted time you’ll never get that time back. No genie in a bottle is going give you that time back. Social media companies love you though. Advertisers can’t get enough of your attention. Streaming services want you sucked in forever. Online shopping apps want you come back and spend more money with them.
How can you change this trend?
How can you fight back and use your precious little time more effectively?
Here is How: The Easy Way & Hard Way
The easy way: There is no easy way.
The hard way: There is a way and it’s difficult.
Turn off your tv for a year. Cold turkey. I just added 3 hours back to your evenings per night or 1,095 hours over 365 days.
Detox from social media for a year. I just added 4 hours back to your day or 1,460 hours over 365 days.
Take a season off from watching any pro and can college sports teams. I just added 3 hours every week or 156 hours over 52 weeks.
Remove all the shopping apps off your phone. Take it another step. Only shop at thrift stores and discount grocery stores. You’ll thank me later but you’ll save time and money with this one.
Added together, all of these tough decisions just saved you thousands of hours. Use these hours to exercise, meditate, pray, volunteer, or work on breathing techniques. Spend time with your family and friends. Go back to school, read those books collecting dust, or start that business you keep talking about.

Make a difference in your own life with this free time.
