Celebrating Success: 2024 Customer Success Executive of the Year

It feels strange to write about success.

Almost everyone wants to be successful. We want to make our families proud and use the abilities we’ve been given to do our best work.

But I’ve always hesitated to share my achievements. I don’t want to seem like I’m bragging. Yet, if I stay silent, how will anyone outside my company know about the milestones I’ve reached in just under two years at Thomson Reuters? They likely won’t unless I speak up or write in public.

So, here I am, sharing that I received the 2024 Thomson Reuters Customer Success Executive of the Year award for Corporates Tax & Trade!

This is a big deal to me.

Throughout my career in tax and accounting, I never received a single award. Zero. Nada. I had excellent performance reviews, but no shiny trophies or plaques to show for it.

Then, in my first year at Thomson Reuters in 2023, I won a Circle of Excellence Award and Rookie of the Year. I was floored.

I thought, “No way am I getting another award two years in a row.”

But I kept working hard, stayed persistent, and didn’t rest on past achievements. I kept my head down and focused on delivering for my customers.

Others must have noticed because my hard work in year two led to this incredible recognition. As a cherry on top, I was promoted a few months after receiving the award—a huge milestone in my career.

No one achieves success alone. I owe a heartfelt thank you to my dedicated team and our valued customers for making this possible.
