Fifteen years of
doing the work.
I’m a Customer Success Executive focused on corporate tax software and technology — helping organizations navigate complex compliance needs and get real value from the tools they invest in.
I also write about leadership, high agency, and career development at Ryan’s Leadership Lessons.
For most of my career I’ve been addressing the tax technology requirements of corporate tax departments — both as a practitioner inside those departments and now as a Customer Success Executive serving them.
My background spans public accounting and corporate tax roles at privately held, Fortune 1000, and Fortune 500 companies. That range of experience gives me a rare perspective: I’ve sat on both sides of the table.
I’ve led and managed remote tax teams across India, Japan, and the United States, and have hands-on experience overseeing direct and indirect tax return filings and complex tax audits across more than 20 countries.
Outside of work, I serve on multiple nonprofit boards, volunteer with the Travis Manion Foundation Cleveland Chapter, and have been a Knight of Columbus Grand Knight, Eagle Scout, and 17-time marathon finisher. I believe the same discipline that gets you to a finish line applies to everything worth doing.
